The search for an extended RV service contract can be a rocky road

Your rating: None

The search for an extended RV service contract can be a rocky road, as I found out the hard way. Fortunately, I was also able to find Scott Stevens at RV Protection, who quickly resolved my problem. We originally signed a contract with another dealer two years ago. When we needed to make a small claim, we found that no contract was in force, and the premium was never forwarded. An Internet review of the company offered as a replacement contract provider provided absolutely no information on the company. While we were fortunate enough to get a refund of our premium, I fear others may not be so lucky. In the process of dealing with the problem, I contacted the management of the company that Scott used to provide our coverage, and was very satisfied with the information and follow through they provided. Scott, as our dealer, was caring, responsive, reasonably priced, and thorough. I finally feel comfortable that we will have adequate protection and service if we do have another claim. The original claim we made we ended up paying out of our own pocket. I'm sure glad it wasn't the engine.
